§ Mr. EdenHas the Leader of the House any statement to make about a change in the business for this week?
§ Mr. H. MorrisonYes, Sir. When I made the business statement last week, I hoped that it would be possible to dispose of the first two items for consideration on Thursday of this week by Six o'Clock, and then to move the Second Reading of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Scotland) Bill. It now seems doubtful whether the remaining stages of the Festival of Britain (Sunday Opening) Bill and the Committee stage of the Administration of Justice (Pensions) Bill will be completed by that hour. Accordingly, the Second Reading of the Salmon and 207 Freshwater Fisheries (Scotland) Bill will be postponed until next week.
§ Mr. EdenWill the right hon. Gentleman bear in mind that it is some time since we had a statement about the military situation in Korea so far as it affects our own troops in particular? Can he let us know whether a statement can be made about this during the week?
§ Mr. MorrisonI will look into the matter with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Defence. I hope to be able to inform the House about that tomorrow.
