§ Mr. WebbIt has already been announced that legislation will be introduced in the present Session giving powers to the White Fish Authority to regulate, reorganise and develop the white fish industry and the matters mentioned by the hon. Member will, no doubt, be considered by that Authority; but I must say frankly that my main concern at present is the price which consumers are having to pay.
§ Mr. GrimondWhen the Minister talks of the high prices which consumers have to pay, will he bear in mind the fact that only a small proportion of that price actually reaches the fishermen who catch the fish?
