§ 22. Mr. Manuel
asked the Minister of Supply what proportion of the requirements of the Services is produced at the Royal Ordnance Factory at Irvine; and whether he will give an assurance that the allocation is a fair proportion having regard to the production at other similar factories.
§ Mr. J. Freeman
The Services have not at present any demands for the product 586 for which the plant at this factory is suitable. The factory is being mainly used for the breakdown of surplus service ammunition and bombs and will continue to receive a due proportion of this work.
