HC Deb 18 May 1949 vol 465 c408
16. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he has considered the complaints of the Mandated Togoland Farmers' Association of lack of medical and educational facilities and of deficiencies in roadways and sanitation; and what progress he has made during the last ten years towards meeting urgent social needs in this area.

Mr. Creech Jones

No such complaints have been addressed to me. The progress towards meeting the social and other needs of the territory is set out in the Annual Reports on Togoland under British Trusteeship.
