§ Mr. TomlinsonThe conditions of sick pay for teachers are primarily a matter for settlement between the teachers and their employing authorities. I understand that the effect of the National Insurance Act has recently been discussed, and that recommendations have been made which should have the effect of simplifying the procedure.
§ Mr. FreemanWould that procedure be along the same lines as that provided by the Civil Service?
§ Mr. TomlinsonI do not know but it will be in accordance with the agreement arrived at between the two parties.
