Lords Amendment: In page 18, line 4, at end, insert: ; and references in the said provisions to providing dancing shall be construed as references to providing facilities for dancing which are adequate having regard to the number of persons for whose reception in the premises or part of premises in question provision is made.

I beg to move, "That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment."

The object of the Amendment is to make it clear that the special hours certificate should not be granted and can be revoked unless an adequate proportion of floor space is provided for dancing.
