§ Mr. MayhewIt is our present policy, pending agreement with our Allies, to suspend the destruction of buildings in Germany which are required for civil use, unless they are of a specifically military nature.
§ Mr. HughesIs the Under-Secretary aware that in one part of Germany there are three generations of tubercular people living in one room, that the buildings in the neighbourhood are being pulled down and that this is making things exceedingly difficult for people who wish to build up a new democracy in Germany?
