§ Mr. SilkinThe Memorandum on London Regional Planning published by my Department in May, 1947, made it clear that my acceptance of an expansion of High Wycombe was subject to my being satisfied, from outline plans based on adequate surveys, that the town could be expanded as proposed. The work involved has not yet been completed.
