HC Deb 06 May 1948 vol 450 c1440
41. Mr. Turton

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that there are eleven families, eight of them engaged in agriculture, urgently requiring housing accommodation in the village of Sutton on Forest, and that as he has limited the allocation of houses to the whole rural district to 18, this village can only be allotted four houses; and whether in view of these facts he will increase the allocation of houses to the Easingwold Rural District.

Mr. Bevan

The allocation of additional houses to the Easingwold Rural District Council for the period from 1st October to 30th June is 52, for 18 of which sites still remain to be acquired.
