§ 38. Mr. Skeffington-Lodgeasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether in the case of those married prisoners repatriated to Germany whose wives remain in this country, he will allow them to return where work is available to them which will not adversely affect British labour.
§ Mr. EdeRepatriated German ex-prisoners of war, married to British born 2274 women, will be allowed, in proper cases, to return here to join their wives and will be subject, so far as employment is concerned, only to such controls as are applicable to British subjects.
