§ 35. Mr. Dumpletonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies which of the African Colonial Governments have now established African Affairs Branches in their secretariats for the review and development of policy in regard to the native administration and local government.
Mr. Creech JonesAll the East and Central African Territorities other than Zanzibar now have Chief Native Commissioners or Secretaries for African Affairs. African Affairs Branches for advisory purposes either already exist or are in process of being set up in these territories as the staff situation permits.
