asked the Minister of Works whether he proposes to release at an early date the Club House and part of the sports ground at Weston Green, Thames Ditton, belonging to the Joint Electricity Authority Sports and Social Association, which were requisitioned in 1940.

I hope to do so shortly.

Mr. Keeling

Is the Minister aware that the 1,425 members of this Association feel bitter and resentful at the fact that three years after the end of the war they are still unable to use their club house and part of their ground?

Mr. Key

I understand that, and I am trying to expedite the release of these premises as soon as I possibly can—I hope by the end of this month.
