§ Mr. ShinwellThe strength of the Territorial Army at 31st May as reported by units was approximately 7,300 male officers and 34,100 male other ranks and 200 female officers and 5,300 female other ranks. I will, with permission, circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT the figures asked for in the last part of the Question.
§ Sir R. RossWill it be possible for the right hon. Gentleman to divide the figures into commands and districts?
§ Mr. ShinwellThat is asking us to take on quite a lot.
§ Mr. LowIs it not much easier for the right hon. Gentleman to publish the figures that arrive at the War Office from the Commands than to amalgamate them?
§ Mr. ShinwellI do not know whether it is or not, but I will look into the question, and if it is easier, I will do so.
