asked the Secretary of State for War what number of permanent staff instructors for the Territorial Army are still without quarters.

Mr. Shinwell

Up-to-date figures are not available centrally, but I am obtaining them. If the hon. Member would care to put down a Question for answer next week, I hope to be able to give the information.

Mr. Low

Will the right hon. Gentleman assure the House that he is doing all that he can to get the increased number of quarters demanded by the present situation?

I certainly am.
