I beg to move, in page 84, line 21, after "committee)," to insert: and in Subsection (3) of Section sixty of the London Government Act, 1939 (which makes similar provision in relation to county and borough councils in London). The purpose of this Amendment is to bring the position in London into line with the position in the provinces.
