HC Deb 11 February 1948 vol 447 c378
Mr. Eden

Has the Leader of the House any statement to make about Friday's Business?

The Lord President of the Council (Mr. Herbert Morrison)

Yes, Sir. The Government promised to consider certain points raised during the Second Reading of the Police Pensions Bill, and we think that it would be for the convenience of the House not to proceed with the Committee stage on Friday of this week. As already announced, on Friday we desire to take the Report stage and the Third Reading of the Cinematograph Films Bill, to make further progress with the Army and Air Force (Women's Service) Bill, and we shall ask the House to take the Committee stage of a new Money Resolution which has been found necessary for the Animals Bill, which has already been read a Second time and referred to a Standing Committee.
