Mr. Skinnardasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what are the reasons for the opposition of the Sierra Leone Protectorate Assembly to the Sierra Leone Protectorate (Acquisition of Lands) Ordinance; and why it is considered necessary for the Sierra Leone Government to hold land in the Protectorate on a freehold instead of leasehold basis.
