§ 11. Mr. David Jonesasked the President of the Board of Trade how many persons are employed on production in factories on the Hartlepools Trading Estate at present; and how many will be employed, giving men and women separately, when the projected factory-building programme is completed.
§ Mr. H. WilsonAt the end of October there were 60 men and 790 women employed on production at the Hartlepools Trading Estate. When the industrial buildings now under construction are completed and in full production, it is estimated that employment will be provided for about 1,700 men and 3,400 women.
