HC Deb 15 May 1947 vol 437 c1710
Sir W. Smithers

On a point of Order. In view of the fact that the Prime Minister was unavoidably absent at Question time and that hon. Members who had Questions down for answer by the right hon. Gentleman were informed that arrangements had been made for him to answer them at the end of Question time—which is not possible now—may I ask whether it would be in Order for me to have my Questions, which are of great constitutional importance, put down for Monday, or is my right taken away so that I cannot put them down for Monday?

Mr. Deputy-Speaker

The hon. Gentleman is certainly at liberty to put the Questions down again.

Sir W. Smithers

On Monday?

Mr. Deputy-Speaker

Yes.
