I beg to move, in page 98, line 5, column 2, after "shall," to insert: "subject to the modification hereinafter provided."

This and the following Amendment are really drafting Amendments. The particular Section of the Act of 1923 has been repealed, and we ask, therefore, that this Amendment be included in the Bill.

Further Amendment made: in line 17, column 2, at end, to insert: (2) The requirement in paragraph (c) of Subsection (1) of Section six that the holding shall be cultivated in accordance with the rules of good husbandry as defined in the Agricultural Holdings Act, 1923, shall be construed as a requirement that the owner or occupier, as the case may be, shall fulfill his responsibilities to farm the holding in accordance with the rules of good husbandry, and Section eleven of this Act shall apply accordingly."—[The Solicitor-General.]
