Mr. Stanley Prescottasked the Minister of Labour if his attention has been directed to the difficulty experienced by many unskilled men, aged 50 years or over, in obtaining employment; and, in view of shortage of manpower and in the interests of such men, what steps he is taking in this connection.
§ The Minister of Labour (Mr. Isaacs)I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Coventry (Mr. Edelman) on this matter on 21st November last, and I can assure him that everything possible is being done for these men.
