HC Deb 06 February 1947 vol 432 c1948
38. Lieut.-Colonel Corbett

asked the Minister of Health if his regulations provide for an upper limit to the rent that a local authority may charge an agricultural worker for a cottage in respect of which subsidy at the agricultural rate of £25 maximum rate is being paid by his Department.

Mr. Bevan

This question is not dealt with by regulations, but I would refer the hon. Member to the provisions of Section 85 (5) of the Housing Act, 1936.
