asked the Minister of Agriculture what acreage of good agricultural land on the island of Foulness, Essex, is not being used for agricultural purposes because it is in the possession of Service Departments.

Except for 180 acres in use by the Ministry of Supply, no agricultural land on Foulness Island is at present debarred from agricultural use. Of this 180 acres, l00 acres will be available for grazing from Michaelmas, 1948.
