asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the approximate numbers of men and women students, respectively, who are attending full-time courses at universities; and the approxi- mate numbers of these who are ex-Service men and women.

Forty-six thousand three hundred and ninety-eight men and 18,068 women during the academic year 1946–47. I am collecting information as to the numbers of ex-Service students and will circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
