asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the representations made to him by local authorities, he now proposes to amend the Ice Cream (Heat Treatment) Regulations, 1946.

The Ice Cream (Heat Treatment, etc.) Regulations, 1947, which were made on 2nd April, are a revise of the draft published in 1946. I am sending the hon. and gallant Member a copy.

Can the Minister give an assurance that the orders fulfil the recommendations made to him by the local authorities, particularly on the definition of the words "quality" and "purity."
