§ 11. Mr. Sidney Shephardasked the Secretary of State for War what progress has been made with the removal of ammunition from Clumber Park, Nottinghamshire; and when it is anticipated he will be able to release the park to the National Trust.
§ Mr. J. FreemanAs I explained in reply to a Question by the hon. Member on 22nd October, we have been trying to clear a part of this estate before the summer. Nearly half the ammunition from this area has been removed, and I hope that the rest will be cleared, and 500 acres of the estate released, within the next two months.
