§ 39. Mr. K. Lindsayasked the Minister of Education whether it is the intention of her Department to create an overseas teaching service, or comparable organisation, so that all teachers going to recognised institutions overseas can retain their pension rights and status within the profession.
§ Miss WilkinsonI am at present considering the recommendation of the McNair Committee that machinery should be established for the secondment of teachers for service overseas. I hope shortly to be able to make a further statement on this matter.
