Mr. Baker Whiteasked the Minister of Food if his attention has been called to the proceedings at the Clacton magistrates court on 9th October, which resulted in heavy fines being imposed upon the Colchester Co-operative Society for the illegal supply of meat to Travco Hotels, Limited, a subsidiary concern of the Co-operative Wholesale Society; and whether he proposes to take steps to revoke the licence to trade of the Colchester Co-operative Society.
§ Mr. StracheyYes, Sir; I am aware of the results of this case, and when I have considered the matter fully I shall decide if action should be taken in regard to the licences held by the society.
