HC Deb 28 May 1946 vol 423 cc981-2
45. Captain Bullock

asked the Prime Minister if he is now able to state what arrangements have been made for the keeping of Remembrance Day this year; and if the dates 1939–1945 will be added to the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

The Prime Minister (Mr. Attlee)

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply which I gave to him on 7th May to which at present I have nothing to add. I would assure the hon. and gallant Member that both questions are far from having been overlooked.

Captain Bullock

If I put down a Question after Whitsun, will the Prime Minister be able to give me an answer?

The Prime Minister

I hope so, and I shall be much obliged if the hon. and gallant Member will do that.
