§ 27. Mr. Sparksasked the Minister of Transport, in view of the large number of people expected in London on Victory Day, what special transport arrange- 8 ments are being contemplated; and if they will be given the widest publicity before the event.
§ Mr. BarnesParticulars of the London Passenger Transport Board's special transport services on 8th June have recently been announced, and have appeared in the Press. The Board will shortly make available to the public a folder giving full particulars of the services. Copies are being sent to hon. Members whose constituencies are in the London area. Notices will also be displayed on the Board's vehicles and premises. Suburban services of the main line railways will be augmented, and late services will be provided, whenever possible. I am arranging with the companies for wide publicity of these arrangements to be given to the Press and on railway stations.
