§ 12. Professor Savoryasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, seeing that His Majesty's Government pledged themselves both at Yalta and at Potsdam to see that elections in Poland should take place as soon as possible, he has given his approval to the proposed postponement of the general election to the autumn.
