73. Mr. De la Bè reasked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in order to attract more agricultural labour to the land and to encourage families to settle and to prevent the drift from the land which has taken place, he will do all in his power to promote and assist schemes for the improvement of living conditions on the farms throughout the country, such as the laying on of gas, electric light and water supplies.
