asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will make arrangements to enable Members to obtain the services of a typist who may be able to type letters, etc., in Welsh, as and when required.

Typists for the use of Members are not provided at the public expense or from Government resources. The obtaining of a Welsh speaking and writing typist is, therefore, a matter for the Members concerned.
