HC Deb 26 February 1946 vol 419 c1729
25. Mr. McKie

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware of the difficulty that many milk producers in southern Scotland are experiencing in obtaining an adequate supply of coal for washing and sterilising milk dishes; and if he will take steps to remedy this deficiency.

Mr. Shinwell

I am in full sympathy with the hon. Member's objective. No difficulties such as he has in mind have been brought to my notice, but if he will let me have particulars of any case within his knowledge, I will take immediate steps to ensure that any reasonable requirements are met.
