Dodd, the U.S. representative on the Preparatory Commission of the Food and Agriculture Organisation, to create a committee to deal with the development and coordination of national nutrition and agricultural programmes and another to consider the problems of international commodity stabilisation and surplus disposal, and the use of international commodity agreements for these purposes.

Mr. Strachey

The United Kingdom Delegation attending the Preparatory Commission of the Food and Agriculture Organisation supported the proposal referred to by the hon. and gallant Member. The two committees have been set up and are now at work. The Preparatory Commission will in due course consider their reports.
