§ Mr. BevanThe power which I have delegated to the clerks of local authorities is that of requisitioning unoccupied dwellings so that they may be used by persons in need of accommodation. I am not aware of any general difficulties over this, but I am considering whether the procedure should be tightened up in certain respects.
