Mr. Bossomasked the Minister of Health what steps he proposes to take to ensure that the codes of practice on heating and ventilating installations are effectively adopted in all new houses, as recommended by the Fuel and Power Advisory Council in their report on domestic fuel policy; and whether he will give an assurance that the permanent housing programme as a whole will incorporate the recommendations of that report.
§ Mr. BevanThe Interdepartmental Committee on Domestic Heating is now considering the means by which the recommendations of the Fuel and Power Advisory Council can best be implemented.
