HC Deb 10 April 1946 vol 421 c1899
3. Viscount Hinchingbrooke

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he has reached a decision on the derequisitioning of Knoll House Hotel, Studland, Dorset.

Mr. Dugdale

Yes, Sir. Certain movements have been ordered which it is hoped will enable the hotel to be released by 1st May, but in any case every effort will be made to give the owner facilities to begin the necessary reinstatement work by that date.

Viscount Hinchingbrooke

Would the hon. Gentleman say whether the clearing away of the war equipment, scaffolding and barbed wire associated with the hotel will be undertaken by the Department?

Mr. Dugdale

I could not say without notice.
