asked the Minister of Food if he is aware that jelly manufacturers say that they cannot manufacture jellies for sale at the price fixed by the Ministry, and that they will not continue manufacture until the price is amended; and will he state whether the prices enable a reasonable margin of profit on these goods.

The answer to the first part of the Question is "Yes, Sir." With regard to the other two parts of the Question, further discussions about prices are taking place with representatives of the industry.
