§ 76. Mr. Palmerasked the Secretary of State for War if he will reconsider the release of Lieutenant C. A. Belcher, R. E. M. E., 334735, under Class B, who is required by the London County Council in connection with housing and reconstruction work and whose release has been already recommended by the Ministry of Health.
Mr. BellenģerThe application made by the Ministry of Labour for this officer's release under Class B was refused owing to the shortage of R. E. M. E. officers and the fact that he is in Group 42. No further application has been received from the Ministry of Labour.
