Mr. Blackburnasked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make on the Report on International Control of Atomic Energy issued by the U.S. State Department; and whether he will arrange for the publication in Britain of this Report, or an analogous British report as a basis for public discussion.
§ The Prime MinisterI understand that this document is not an expression of the views of the United States Government. His Majesty's Government prefer to make no statement on this subject in advance of the discussions which will take place in the United Nations Commission on Atomic Energy. I am arranging for the report in question to be placed on sale here by His Majesty's Stationery Office.
