§ 25. Mr. A. Daviesasked the Minister of War Transport how much has been expended by the four main line railway companies on railway works, extensions or improvements of a capital nature during the operation of the Railway Control Agreement.
§ Mr. BarnesThe amount charged to capital account by the four main line railway companies in respect of works and equipment during the period 1st September, 1939, to 10th November, 1945, is approximately£18 millions. In addition, about£85 millions has been spent on renewal account.
