asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the fact that Rumania now has the fourth largest army in the field against the Germans, it is proposed to grant her co-belligerent status.

Mr. Law

Before Rumania could be granted co-belligerent status, it would be necessary first to discuss the matter with the Soviet and United States Governments. No such discussions have as yet taken place.
