CrippsThe value of the exports of machinery, including machine tools, of United Kingdom manufacture exported from this country to the U.S.S.R. in the first nine months of 1937, 1938 and 1945, amounted to £510,000, £1,961,000 and £9,808,000 respectively. The value of the timber imported into the United Kingdom from the U.S.S.R. during these periods was £6,778,000, £3,856,000 and £557,000.
