HC Deb 10 December 1945 vol 417 c35
98. Flying-Officer Bowden

asked the Minister of War Transport if he will arrange transport for the European children who are to be guests of families in this country during the winter months.

Mr. Barnes

Facilities for passengers between the United Kingdom and the Continent are limited, but I should, of course, be happy to consider whether it would be practicable to make a number of passages available for European children coming to this country under any arrangements that may be approved by His Majesty's Government.
