§ 71. Sir Stanley Reedasked the Secretary of State for War how many sanatoria under military control have been set up for the treatment of tuberculosis amongst the Forces.
§ Mr. LawsonNone, Sir. This treatment is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, but, as I stated on 16th October, in reply to a Question by the hon. and gallant Member for the Isle of Ely (Major Legge-Bourke), the possibility of special arrangements for Service personnel is now under examination. Meanwhile, to avoid delay in treatment, a number of Service patients are being retained under military care.
