asked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to state the facts of the invasion of this country attempted by the Nazis in 1940 and in 1942.

As regards 1940, my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has nothing to add to the reply which he gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Leeds West (Major Vyvyan Adams) on 20th June last. As regards 1942, I know of no attempted invasion of this country by the Germans and I do not believe that they were then in a position to make such an attempt.
