Mr. Prittasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that a soldier serving in No. 11 Convalescent Camp, C.M.F., was invited to give an A.E.C. lecture on the International Brigade to the patients and other personnel in the camp; that the Warrant Officer i/c Education was to be chairman and that the lecture was officially fixed and advertised for the evening of the 13th September, but that on the morning of that day the adjutant and colonel forbade the lecture; and whether he will ascertain why this was done and discipline the officers responsible.
