§ The following Question stood upon the Order Paper in the name of Earl WINTERTON:
§ 39. To ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies if the Wood-Winterton Agreement in regard to the demarcation of land is still in operation in Kenya; and what is the estimated area of land suitable for European settlement in the highlands which is still unoccupied.
§ Earl WintertonIn view of the large number of Questions on the Paper still to be answered and the fact that we have only reached Question 39, I ask that the answer to my Question may be circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT. [Interruption.] I do not suppose I shall get any credit for setting that example.
§ Colonel StanleyI hope that the result will be satisfactory.
