HC Deb 08 November 1944 vol 404 c1336
9. Flight-Lieutenant Teeling

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether telegrams from prisoners in Japanese hands are now being received; and whether he has any statement to make on how the arrangements are working or how many are coming through.

Mr. Eden

Notification of acceptance of this proposal was sent through the Red Cross in September. No telegrams have yet been received from prisoners of war or civilian internees in the Far East. I will notify the House as soon as such begin to be received.
